1 Cup of Butter (2 sticks)

1 Cup of Brown Sugar

½ cup of Sugar

2 eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 ¼ cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

3 cups of oatmeal 

1 1/2 cup of m&m’s 

1 and 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of salt

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line your cookie sheets with parchment paper

Mix the butter and the sugar and brown sugar in a bowl. Gradually add each egg and add the vanilla extract

Mix all the dry ingredients and then put the dry ingredients in the same bowl as the other ingredients. Add the m&ms, and oatmeal. 

Form balls with a spoon 2 inches apart from each other on the cookie sheet.

Cook it for 10-13 minutes or until the edges are golden.

This recipe is important to me because I usually make this every year for my family and they all enjoy the cookies that I make for them.
